Isabelle has always been a vivacious and gregarious little soul and these traits have not been destroyed by this dreadful incident. Her sense of humour is incredible and she is making superb progress. However, physically her recovery will take some time. Sadly Isabelle is self conscious about her face and won't believe me when I tell her it's only a little bit noticeable when she talks and says certain words. To cheer her up I persuaded her to let me take some pictures to prove that she's doing just fine. Hopefully these will boost her confidence a bit. My grandson Frederick was more than happy to cooperate but Isabelle did relax eventually:
